Create a Critter

Since I am a teacher, I have to spread out my new craft purchases. I have been waiting patiently to get a special Cricut Cartridge for myself: Create a Critter!!!

I made two cards. My puppy, Bella, loves squirrels and I made that one in honor of her. I also made the crab card because Maryland is all about crabs in the summer time~! Enjoy!!

Teacher Gifts

Hello Hello,
Last night I felt really motivated to get scrapping. I did not do any crafty things all weekend!! I decided to get a jump start and make two birthday gifts for my friends. They are both teachers, surprise, and their last names both start with D. Here are some of the cards I came up with. (I even made a set for myself so I could use them. I made 18 cards last night! Whew!!

You can also see the cute packaging I made for the cards. I got the ideas for the packaging from Robyn over at My Pink Stamper. Thanks Robyn for the ideas!!

Get Whale Soon

There are so many joys of being a teacher, especially a Kindergarten teacher. BUT, there are also some sad times, especially when you hear a student is very sick. This simple card is made for a little girl, age 6, who is battling a brain tumor. I hope this brings a smile to her face. She is a brave little girl and my prayers are constantly with her.

I used a bunch of scraps to make this card. I did not have a whale on any of my cricut cartridges, so I printed one :)
